STUFF

Ava saw Santa. She was all smiles while we waited in line. Once we got to meet him she didn't care much about smiling. Violet went along too but was not allowed to have her photo even though we were at Kierland and outside. We promised her many times that she'd get her photo with Santa at PetSmart but it never happened. We tried but we ended up at Petco and they blow.

Violet went to her school (doggy daycare/her vet) a million times this month. She never turns back when we drop her off. She knows exactly which door to go to to get to the back where the fun is. All the employees know her by name. We get stories every time we pick her up on her antics. Today we heard that one of the counter girls was checking a patient out and getting ready to hand them the credit card slip to sign. Violet swooped in and snatched the slip out of her hand. Of course like the avocado incident, would not give it back. Finally the girl got it back and another dog came to join in and took the receipt for another round of fun.

I made gingerbread men tonight, tomorrow I decorate them. I also made white sangria. I also organized my cheese selection for tomorrow night's festivities. I also made homemade hot chocolate mix to give to my guests tomorrow night. Can someone say domestic freak?

Mr. Cookie and I ate at Cheslea's Kitchen today. It was heavenly as it always is. I am a nut for all things tuna lately. Ahi tuna, that is.

I think I am one more drop of my cell phone away from my iPhone. The key pad on my phone is dangling. The fact that I don't have internet service wherever I am right now is mind boggling. I heart the www.

It is way past my bedtime.

Ava is getting her passport, both American and British after the holidays. My baby is going to be a world traveler.

We are having our first night away from Ava this weekend. I hate the thought of it but we'll have fun. We are staying at The Camelback Inn with a group of friends. Brunching all day and spending the night. Spa day takes place the day before. Heaven, but I tend to twitch without my peanut. I love her.

Time for bed.
