At our doctor's appointment on Friday, Dr. Carter says, "At least you won't be pregnant in August." Blaaaaaaaargh...
Excuse me, sir?
My due date is August 2nd, so how am I not going to be pregnant in August? He said he wouldn't be surprised if the baby came before the month was over. After a mild panic attack Mr. Cookie lovingly informed me that August 2nd is really just 2 days after the end of the month. Good point, but I NEED the 2 days! AND, the month is ending in a week or so.
So, apparently this is all real and I am going to have a baby. Soon. Like maybe next week, or the week after. I still can't believe it. The drawbacks to having an easy pregnancy is you don't get a lot of time to remember you are pregnant. Don't get me wrong, lately I am well aware that I am pregnant and I look forward to being able to bend from the waist and walk between cars in the parking lot again. But there is always that nagging reminder that somehow that baby has to come out.
