Can't say we needed a shovel in the City

Nothing says homeowner like owning a shovel and a ladder!

Holding true to my promise of us starting our move and setting up the nursery the day we close, we made a quick run to Home Depot to get some essentials for that day. The ladder will help when painting the baby's room (among others in the near future!) and the shovel for Mr. Cookie's first project, keeping Violet from getting out of the yard by crawling under the gate.

We are so excited, we had our walk through today where we learned the ins and outs of the new pad as well as made sure it was all up to our liking. They've done a wonderful job and are so thorough, we really have no complaints.

We already have visitors booked for end August, Thanksgiving and Christmas, glad to finally have a room for our guests!

The big day is set for July 9th (Happy 80th Birthday, Popsi!!) at 8:30am!
