We had our 39+ week doctor's appointment yesterday and though the baby is very low, no progress has been made to indicate her arrival. Our due date is on Saturday and Dr. Carter really doesn't like to let them go too much after their due date. Rather than going to my scheduled appointment on Monday I am now going to be awaiting a phone call from Scottsdale Healthcare sometime between 12:00am Monday - 11:59pm Monday for an induction should she not come on her own this weekend. I've been given the good advice to "Get some sleep." Really? Because I am sure I will just be sleeping so soundly knowing that any given moment my phone is going to ring to be told it is time to have my baby.
Funny, after the appointment I've been feeling a little off and all day today I've been experiencing very mild contractions. When I was sure they were contractions I ran into Mr. Cookie's office to let him know that we had to finish the painting I had started and quick! I can't be having half a wall done. I painted the bottom 3/4 of 2 walls today and they look lovely. Mr. Cookie handled the top 1/4s.
Our bed headboard and dresser were also delivered today as well as Mr. Cookie's Cardinals season tickets. Tomorrow the blinds come at 11:00 and THEN I can have the baby. After I clean and do some laundry :)
Who knows what will happen but we should have ourselves a baby by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Whoa.
