I told you!

Somewhere in this blog I talk about my plans to start nesting away on the baby's room the day we close on our house.

I wasn't lyin', y'all.

We closed at 8:30am, we started painting the room at 11:00am. By 5:00pm we had the room painted, the crib and a chair built and all the baby's clothes were hanging in her closet. The next day the changer/dresser and bookshelf were built and some decorations were hung.

Day 3 we will see very near completion only because I am not allowed to get on a ladder and hang the baby's chandelier (yes, my spoiled baby has a chandelier).

I am also aware that the baby won't be using her new room for a little while after her arrival but that did not mean it wasn't going to be done. Nutcase, anyone?

I am not the only one who had to nest. Mr. Cookie immediately set up his own nest.

The boy has got to have his tunes or he starts twitching.
You'd think all of this would make me believe we are having a baby in the next week or so. Nope!! Nada!

It is so precious! And the baby's nursery ain't bad either!

We've lived in our house a looonnng time and have yet to decorate. Maybe you could come over and whip us into shape.

Ya know, if you're not too busy.
